Despite the best of intentions, we have often seen attempts to collaborate between functions and people with different levels of knowledge and input to the supply chain fail to produce forecasts that really help the business.

The SO99+ Demand Collaboration Hub (DCH) is a consensus building platform that complements demand forecasting by bringing together data from multiple stakeholders. It is a native web application for the primary operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), browsers, tablets, iPhones and Android devices.

It provides a simple-to-use environment where inexperienced or occasional users can collaborate and contribute to the forecast planning process. By evaluating and comparing multiple forecast inputs from sales departments, POS data or any other source, this unique approach mitigates forecast bias and quickly improves forecast accuracy.

DCH supports both internal sources, such as marketing and salespeople, and external sources - partners, retailers, distributors or suppliers. Once Demand Forecasting has provided the baseline forecast, DCH users add their market knowledge by inputting their knowledge. The net result is a single consensus forecast that minimises inter-departmental differences and facilitates an SCP or S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process.
